My vote is Sudden Death w/ Jean-Claude. Penguins in the Cup? Junior hockey goalie jumps into game 7 and plays better than the starter? Sounds too much like Top-Indian (Dances with Wolves) or Top-Samurai (The Last Samurai).

Gotta agree here. Not only is it the worst hockey movie ever, it just might be the worst VAN DAMME movie ever.

No way, Street Fighter is up there for worst Van Damme movie ever.

Tough call though, what with Slapshot II and Mighty Ducks III out there.

i remember seeing a movie about Ted Lindsay and the first player strike..That was pretty good.

Without question, it is "Face Off", a 1971 film about a player for the Toronto Maple Leafs and his hippie/non-violent-preachin' girlfriend. It is horrid. I threaten to show it on CRC trips if the kids act up too bad. Thank god, I've never had to break it out.
