Wow, so TB will have Lacavalier and St. Louis together for 4 years barring a trade, but will also have around $11 million tied up in TWO forwards for the next 4 years. And Richards is currently earning $3.4 himself, so that's really $14.5 for three forwards. (For how long is Richards signed?) Assuming the cap stays at what it is now, that means they have $24.5 million available for 20 players. Maybe that's not so bad as it seems, I guess we'll see.
Isn't St. Louis 30 years old? Over paid for a player who will be 36 when the contract is over and is coming off a career year. Mark this down as a sure fired mistake in the long run.
