I was ticketed $100 for parking at a meter across the street from the Chop House since it was during "rush hour". I did not notice any signs to that effect that it was illegal to park there at those hours (4:30 - 6:00). There were many other cars parked there at the time as well.

Does anyone know if a permit is required to park there during those hours - or if you have been in that area, is there any type of sign stating it is illegal to park during these hours? I was totally taken by surprise by this.

Being from out of town it is difficult for me to try to obtain proof that there are no notices to that effect.
