       Overview
Washington plays the first of five consective road games at Boston in a rare Monday afternoon game.  The Capitals beat New Jersey in DC on Saturday, 6-1, while the Bruins have opened the season 2-0-0-0 themselves with wins over Anaheim and Atlanta.
Despite Jason Allison's absence, the B's have a potent lineup and are always dangerous with ex-Cap Byron Dafoe tending the net.  11 Bruins already have points, and 7 have 2 or more through 2 games.  The Bruins are coming off of a 4-3 overtime win against Atlanta.
Washington is looking to build on their successful start to the season.  6 different Caps players scored against New Jersey and the defense and Olie Kolzig were very sharp.  Washington didn't allow a single power play goal against in 5 penalty kill situations.

Comments
The Caps have more firepower and more defensive skill amongst their forwards.  Bs aren't bad, though.

Both teams have solid groups of d-men, but the Caps have more experience and scoring.

Dafoe plays the Caps very tough, but Olie is Vezina calibre.  Slight edge Caps.

The Caps got two PP goals vs. NJ, the Bs have 1 in two games.  Big edge Caps.

Both teams are perfect so far, Bruins are 9/9, Caps 5/5.  This could be the deciding facor for the game.

Bruins are at home, just retired Bourque's number, and the Caps have four more on the road ahead.

Edge Capitals.  The Bruins will be solid, but Washington should pull this one off.

Question:
"Will the Capitals beat the Bruins on Monday?"

Answer:
"My sources say no."

Translation:
Caps play sloppy and lose on the road to a determined Bruins squad.
